It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danial Chitwood of Sumner, Illinois, born in Salem, Missouri, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Chitwood and Goldie Chitwood (Woods); his daughter Amy Danielle Chitwood; and his siblings, Eugene Chitwood, Barbara Earnst and Sharon Earnst.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Wanda; his wife Wanda of Sumner, Illinois; his children, Daniel Chitwood (Amber) of Louisville, Wendy James (Scott) of Sweet Springs and Susan Magnan (Bob); his adoptive son Thomas Earnest of Seattle, Washington; his siblings, Thurman Chitwood (Jean) of Cisne, Illinois, Glenna Christy (Jim) of Marshall, Dolly Propes (Ed) of Olney, Sandy Smith (Joe) of St. Francisville and Kathy Foshee of Friendsville, Illinois; and his pets, Chuck, Blondie, Roxie and Rosie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
