He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight H. Sanders and Lona Marie Scheriger Sanders; and his brother Vernos Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; and his siblings, Carlonia Rodriguez of Morton, Jean Deadmond of Kinmundy, Charles Sanders of Centralia and Thomas Sanders of Odin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
He always thought of her first, particularly after her Alzheimer's Disease progressed.
