She was predeceased by: her husband John Steele; her brother Robert Allen Hamilton; her father Robert Eugene Hamilton; and her stepson William Steele. She is survived by: her mother Marjorie Hamilton (Clayton) of Sycamore; her son Brian M. Steele (Lindsay) of Malta; her grandchildren, Brianne and Kaylynn; and her siblings, Donald Hamilton (Paula) of Tennessee, Kathy Dowdy (Mike) of Hinckley, Illinois, Laura Clark and DeKalb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
