Lillian Irene Kent Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Irene Kent of Taylorville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillian Irene Kent to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Edward and Lillian Jane Eyman (McDaniel); her son Benjamin H. Kent; her grandson Kinsey Muffick; and her siblings, Warren Eyman, Albert Eyman and Norma Jean McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel W. Kent (Louise) of Chatham, IL, Deborah K. Kent (Jim Olive) of Taylorville, IL, Susan I. Creek (Larry Angelo) of Taylorville, IL and Samantha Morgan (Dwight) of Springfield, IL; her sister Mary Harper (Butch) of Assumption, IL; and her close friend Connie Curtin. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church of Morrisonville (109 SE 5th St., Morrisonville, IL 62546). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
