It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Tulipana of Taylorville, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Carnes and Mary Carnes (Pfieffer); her husband James Tulipana; her brother Jerry Carnes; and her granddaughter Breanna Sklenka.
She is survived by : her children, Brian Sklenka Sr. (Michelle) of Taylorville, IL and Kimberly Tulipana of Overland Park, Kansas; her sister Cathy Hostick (Mike Sr.) of Plano, Texas; her sister-in-law Pat Carnes of Morehead City; and her grandchildren, Bryan, Alex, Cassi, Brett, Robert, Kalin, Tyler, Alaina and Maryn. She is also survived by 5 great-great grandchildren; 7 nieces; and 1 nephew.
