He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest King and Melba King (Schuerenberg); his wife Joy McGilvary; his granddaughter Joy Marie King; and his sister Mary Sue Harrington.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene Diane King of Teutopolis and Charles Norman King of Effingham; his grandchildren, Johnny King, Dwayne McDonald, Tammie King and James King; and his great grandchildren, Mia, Kolby, Addie and Harley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
