She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Sharples and Esther Sharples (Hill); her husband William C. "Bill" Runde; and her brothers, Paul and Richard Sharples.
She is survived by: her children, Paul (Julie) of Effingham, Bill (Silvia) of Teutopolis, Dan (Pam) of Ocean City, MD, Pete of Teutopolis, Michelle of Teutopolis, Patty of Anchorage, AK, Carol of Pahrump, NV and Angie of Kirkwood, MO. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
