He is survived by: his wife Angela Hotze; his children, Allison Hotze, Julie Wilder (Logan) and Jacob Hotze; and his grandson William Thomas Wilder. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teutopolis Fire Protection District, Teutopolis KC Hall Renovation Fund, or the World Pediatric Project.
