He was predeceased by: his mother Norma Goulet Murphy. He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Odell of Tiskilwa; his siblings, Randy Newstrand (Kathy) of Chadwick, Mike Murphy (Nicole) of Tiskilwa, Sue Newstrand of Princeton, Mary "Angi" Murphy of Princeton, Michele Ebel of Greenville and Sarah Kluever (Justin) of Annawan, Illinois; his father Jerry Murphy (Helen) of Tiskilwa; his uncle James; his aunt Brenda Parrott of Princeton; and his siblings' children, Noah, Mikayla, Maddie, Jessica, Amber, Chris, Ashli, Ryan, Paige, Matt, Abigail, Garrett, Breann Birdsley (Brian Bosi), Adam Odell (April Buchanan), Andrew Carroll (Trish), Jim Odell (Kayla Sobin) and Kelly Odell.
