She was predeceased by: her husband Emile Schertz; her sister Maxine Lazar; and her nephews, Mark Rieker and Mike Rieker. She is survived by: her children, Todd Schertz (Pam) of Tiskilwa, IL, Tom Schertz (Amy) of Stillwater, MN and Jamie Hassler (Tom) of Princeton, IL; her grandchildren, Cody, Collin, Colbi, Casey, Mitch, Megan, Emily, Ethan and Avery; her great grandchild Melody; and her siblings, Gary Rieker (Sandy) of Princeton, IL, Shirley Lilley of Princeton, IL and Joyce Wathen of Overland Park, KS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Tiskilwa Community Womens Association.
