He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Harmon and Mabel Harmon (Clodfelter); his spouse N. Muriel Campbell; his daughter Peggy Harmon-Grindley; and his grandson Christopher Johnston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Johnston (Mark) of Tiskilwa, Deb Bohm (John) of Walnut and Cindy Jennings (David) of Rhome, Texas; his son-in-law Gary Grindley of Urbana; and his grandchildren, Joseph Dever (Kady), Corey Dever (Bethen Campbell), Chad Dever (Stephanie), Jana Bohm (Brady Nordstrom), Kyle Bohm (Hannah), Eric Johnston (Olivia), Nick Johnston (Jessica), Nikki Duge (Bo) and Megan Jennings. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
