He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Alvis; and his grandparents, William Klausing, Cleo and Mabel Alvis. He is survived by: his wife Amada Alvis of Whiteman, AF; his children, Jason E. Alvis of Whiteman, AF and Kaylie M. Alvis of Whiteman, AF; his mother Lana Ferrill of Caseyville, IL; his sisters, Amanda Alvis (U. S. Army Reserves) of Lebanon, MO and Justine Dochterman (Mark) of Troy, IL; and his grandmother Helen Klausing of St. Jacob, IL..
