He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cowie and Catherine Cowie; and his sister Eileen Eppler. He is survived by: his pets, Skippy, Sandy and Pricella; his wife Mary Sue Cowie; his son Steve Cowie (Kaitlin) of Belgrade, MT; and his sibling's children, Ann Power (Chris) of Plano, TX and John Eppler (Jessica) of St. Louis, MO..
