He is survived by: his spouse Kay Kleiss; his children, Kristi Townsend (Chris) and John Kleiss (Patti); his grandchildren, Carrie Egli (Mark), Aimee Chinski (Adam), Mary Claire Kuehn (Ryan), Catherine Kleiss and Jack Kleiss; and his great grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah Chinski.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Forty Martyrs Catholic Church.
