It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gini Montgomery of Tuscola, Illinois, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on October 13, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James McAlpin and Verna Yeckley McAlpin; her brother William McAlpin; her husband Owen Montgomery of Monticello; and her stepchildren, Robert Montgomery and Linda Dallas.
She is survived by: her former husband John "Jack" Gans; her stepsons, Charles Montgomery (Tiana) of Monticello and Richard Montgomery (Billie) of Monticello; her close friend Terry Van Dorn; and her stepdaughters, Teresa Waters of Tuscola, Vicki Carter of Camargo and Brenda Franklin.
