She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Kocher and Anna Scheddelbauer Kocher; her sister Wilmajean Geier of Wendelin, IL.; and her sons, Kenneth Kappes and Kevin Kappes.
She is survived by: her spouse John J. Kappes; and her children, Maynard Kappes of Arcola, Gary Kappes (Becky) of Tuscola, Norbert Kappes (Mary Jo) of Yukon, OK, Dennis Kappes (Jane) of Tuscola, Kathleen White (Doug) of Oakland and Karen Brian (Michael) of Tuscola. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
