It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Ann Bankson (Union, Illinois), who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Bill Bankson; her siblings, Norman Meyer (Jane), Connie Wesson (Jack) and Scott Meyer; her siblings' children, Kim, Mike, Jeff, Todd, Kate, Craig, Aaron, Will, Wynn, Whitney, Kelsey and Maddie; her parents, Stanley Meyer and Adeline Meyer; and her sister Sandy Ferreri.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John's Lutheran Church (6821 Main St, Union, IL 60180). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:30 PM.
