In the sacred silence of farewell, Diana is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Diana's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry E. Taylor and Lillie Mae Taylor (Hall); her daughter Angela Shuman; and her siblings, Michael Taylor, Mike Taylor and Debbie Welsh.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ashley Hutchinson (Matt) and Dillon Kielhorn; and her great grandchild Ellie Mae.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center (710 N Neil St, Champaign, IL 61820). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Grandview Memorial Gardens (4112 W Bloomington Rd, Champaign, IL 61822).
Memorial donations may be made in Dee's name to an animal shelter of your choosing.
