He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Martens and Esther Martens; his brothers, Ralph Martens (Melba), Earl Martens (Erna), Harold Martens and Roy Martens (Helen); and his brother-in-law Harry Surmeier.
He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Surmeier of Venedy; and his sister-in-law Karen Martens of Nashville.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, a private family service will be held at the St. Salvator Lutheran Church in Venedy.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the St. Salvator Lutheran Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
