Paul A. Martens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2021, at the age of 79, Paul A. Martens (Venedy, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Martens and Esther Martens; his brothers, Ralph Martens (Melba), Earl Martens (Erna), Harold Martens, Roy Martens (Helen) and Leo Martens; his brother-in-law Harry Surmeier; his close friend Minette Guetersloh; and also Lisa Strubhart.
He is survived by: his wife Harriet Perry; his children, Vicki Martens (Jesi) of Thermopolis, WY, James Martens (Jaki) of Venedy and Kelly Bergkoetter (Dave) of Addieville, IL; his sister Dorothy Surmeier of Venedy; his sister-in-law Karen Martens of Nashville; and also, Dale Guetersloh (Tracey) of Nashville and Lloyd Strubhart of Addieville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces as well as a host of friends.
Due to Covid-19 health concerns, masks are encouraged, and social distancing measures will be implemented.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Salvator Lutheran Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
