He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adolph Martens and Easter Martens; his son Mark Martens (Karen) of Venedy; his grandchildren, Lauren Kadleck (Ryan) of Belleville, IL and Brian Martens; his siblings, Leo Martens of Venedy, Paul Martens (Minette Guetersloh) of Nashville and Dorothy Surmeier (Harry) of Venedy; his sister-in-law Karen Martens of Nashville; and his brothers, Ralph Martens (Melba), Earl Martens (Erna) and Harold Martens. He was also cherished by several brothers-in law and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Salvator Bell Tower Fund or to the St. Salvator Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
