He is survived by: his parents, Charles McCormack and Marjorie McCormack (Anderson); his sister Claudia Macholz (Steve) of Wilmington; his sibling's children, Nicholas Macholz (Molly), Adam Macholz (Jessica Durham) and Jillian Burnley (Mike); and his great-nephews, Eddie Macholz and Jacob Burnley.

Preferred memorials may be made in Douglas' name to Illinois Valley Industries.
