He was predeceased by : his father Pete Beecher; and his father-in-law Gerald Buis. He is survived by : his mother Delores Jean Scott Beecher; his wife Barbara J. Buis; his stepmother Beverly Beecher; his mother-in-law Jeannie Buis; and his children, J. R. McGee (Matthew Schubert), Katie Sheppard (Jessica Britton), Jacob Beecher (Mary) and Cassandra Zoss (Ashley VanDorsten).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family at PNC Bank.
