He is survived by: his wife Vera Schneider; his children, Pauline Mudd (Paul), Susan Stanglein (Edward), Karen Julleis (Chip) and John Schneider (Angie); his grandchildren, Michael Mudd (Becky), Julie Hudson (Trevor), Neil Stanglein, Bill Fries Jr. and Wade Fries; his great grandchildren, Jacob Mudd and Collin Mudd; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Heck, Bernice Schneider and Margaret Heck. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and cousins.
