He was predeceased by: his wife Karen A. Massena; and his parents, Fred "Connie" and Mary "Connie". He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Paris of Edwardsville, IL., Jeanne Borgschulte (Greg) of Columbia, IL., Michelle Berry (Tom) of Edwardsville, IL. and Jill Boyd (Steven) of Waterloo, IL; his sister-in-law Cathy Gilsinn (Dennis) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Paris-Schley, Taylor Paris, Lauren Borgschulte, Adam Borgschulte, Morgan Berry, Caitlyn Berry, Lilly Berry and Olivia Boyd; and his great grandchild Jake Schley.
