He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice M. Elliott; and his children, Sandra Large, Ernie Sandlin (Susan), Cynthia Elliott, Anthony C. Elliott, Ernest Sandlin Jr., Alice JoAnn Sandlin, Christi Molitor (Chad), Pamela Ward (Rich), James Welch (Nancy), Darren Welch and Mark Welch. He was also cherished by grandchildren; great grandchildren.
