She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Anderson and Gertrude Anderson (Chantrill); her brother Lloyd Anderson; her sister-in-law Patricia Anderson; and her sons-in-law, James McGee and Michael Haub.

She is survived by: her husband Merle Chambers of Malta, IL; and her daughters, Sheryl McGee of Rochelle, IL, Laurene Kerwin (David) of Raytown, MO and Deanne Haub of Creston, IL. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home - Waterman (1001 E Garfield St, Waterman, IL 60556). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nash-Nelson Funeral Home (1001 E Garfield St, Waterman, IL 60556). A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 3406 Cemetery Rd, Shabbona, IL 60550.
