He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Sr. and Emilia; and his brother Ramon Sotomayor. He is survived by: his daughters, Janel Sotomayor and Janysa Sotomayor (Brian); his grandchildren, Jordan Nedanovski, Jaelyn and Jocelyn Krawczyk; and the mother of his children Isamary Sotomayor.
