She was predeceased by: her mother Chessie B. Cole-Swopes; her husband Albert S. Winfrey; her former husband G. Peter Alexander; her father Chester Arthur Swopes, Sr.; her brothers, Chester Swopes, Jr., Ernest Swopes, Bruce Swopes and Aaron Swopes; and her grandparents, Ernest Swopes, Annie B. Fisher, Willie B. Hayes and George Cole.
She is survived by: her daughter Allecia Harley (Dan) of Chicago, IL; her grandson Daniel Harley of Chicago, IL; her stepmother Mary Swopes of Wadsworth, IL; and her siblings, Leotis-Joe Swopes (Polly) of South Holland, IL, Carl Swopes of Los Cruces, NM, Louise Harris (Willie) of West Memphis, AR and Diane (Mark) of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, godchildren, close cousins, and friends.
