She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Vlack and Lillian Vlack (Kalwitz); her husband Russell Woertz; her daughter Joanne; and her siblings, Edward Vlack and Eleanor McDonough.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Woertz Clark (Ted Sullivan) of Marietta, Georgia, Glenn Woertz (Cheryl) of Alpine and Gary Woertz (Patricia) of Waukegan; her grandchildren, Tammy Quagliata (Steve), Kim Watts (Greg), Collin Keeler, Brendan Woertz, Matt Woertz, Jeremy Woertz (Kristen), Joanna Dorsey (Mitchell) and Eleanor Woertz; and her sibling's children, Eleanor "Cissy" Singleton and Lee McDonough. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Ripon College, in Ripon, Wisconsin.
