With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doraleigh Athanatos of Waukegan, Illinois, born in Mundelein, Illinois, who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Leigh Poulton and Cora Wright Poulton; her children, Mary Leigh and William Michael; and her husband William Athanatos.
She is survived by: her brothers, David Poulton (Marlene) of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Jim Poulton (Connie) of Sparks, NV; and her siblings' children, David Poulton of Boulder, CO, Donald Poulton (Leslie) of Modesto, CA, Deborah Edwards (Ronald) of Dallas, TX, Donna Fleischer (Jeff) of Littleton, CO and Melissa Glenn (Max) of Sparks, NV.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Doraleigh's name to the Community Protestant Church in Mundelein.
