It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doretha Jackson (Waukegan, Illinois), born in Lake Village, Arkansas, who passed away on August 27, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Broxie Kelly and Clarence Minifee; and her siblings, Abel Bohannon, Irene of Washington and Rosalee Redmond.
She is survived by: her uncle Rev. J. N. Lightfoot, Sr.; her children, Loretha, Zeno (Dorothy), Lular (Lonnie) and Lawrence; her sister Alberta of Washington; and her sister-in-law Patricia Bohannon. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
