He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie B. Johnson and Katie Mae Johnson; his aunts and uncles, Lewis Johnson (Matie) of Florence, AL, Lionel Johnson (Vernedta) of Michigan City, IN., Eliza Rowell of Minneapolis, MN and Jolee Rowell of Phoenix, AZ.; his siblings, Sarah Johnson and Michael Johnson; his grandson Brandon Starks; his niece Katie Tinnia Johnson; and his stepgrandson Joseph Vihon.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Brian M. Johnson (Lindsey) of Island Lake, IL., Traci Hines of Henderson, NV, Raquel Edmond (Carlos) of Las Vegas, NV, Dawn Schweinsberg (Michael) of Cumming, GA, Cathy Enyart of Woodstock, GA and Veda Starks of Waukegan, IL; and his sisters, Katie, Deborah Johnson of Zion, IL, Julia Johnson of Charlotte, NC and Delaine Johnson of Waukegan, IL.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
