She was predeceased by : her parents, Isaiah James and Lucielle James (Dickens); her husband Willie Lewis Walls Sr.; and her siblings, I. H. James, J. H. James, Effie Coburn, Beatrice Baines, Alice Carter, Vera Crump, Minnie Childress, Christine Friar, Carrie Curry, Irma Smith and Catherine James.
She is survived by : her child Willie Walls Jr. Cherry Walls; and her close friends, Bertha Carter, Alice and Mary Love.
