May Jr. (Waukegan, Illinois), born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jackie May (Gloria) of Beach Park, IL, Viola, Lillian, Rickey and Harry.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Henry of Zion, IL; his daughters, Toronda Willis of Zion, IL and Tonja Gibson (Daniel, Sr.) of Zion, IL; his godson Roy Brandon Powe (Pam) of Warrenville, IL; his siblings, Robert May, David May of Waukegan, IL and Vivian Rowell of Gurnee, IL.; his grandchildren, Ashanti Barnett, KeShaun "Key" Barnett, Daniel Gibson Jr., Reann Gibson, Danielle Gibson and Jaylin Willis; his great grandchildren, Malayah Callahan, Malique Callahan, Marie Callahan and Lillie Pegues; and his cousin Elayne Willis of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
