It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Ann Daniels of Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Brown and Nora Brown; her husband Thomas Henry Daniels Sr.; her children, Betty Brown, Glenda Daniels-Nelson, Thomas Daniels Jr. and Kenneth Daniels; her grandson Kenneth Daniels; and her great grandchild Ambria Daniels.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Daniels of Zion, IL, Marian Carson (Steve) of Jacksonville, NC, Bryant Daniels of North Chicago, IL and David Daniels (Connie) of Peoria, AZ; and her siblings, Johnny Brown of Zion, IL, Betty Jean Jackson of Zion, IL, Diann Lowery of Waukegan, IL, Jesse Davis, William Brown, L. W. Brown (Pete), Dolly Mae Norris, Bobbie Ann Brown, Maggie Moore, Pauline Hughes and Mary Alice Henry. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (409 Wainlow Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
