He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignacio Viesca and Juanita Diaz; his sister Melida Apolinar; and his grandson Ivan Hurtado. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Viesca; his children, Jose Luis Viesca, Norma Idalia Tello (David), Maria Leticia Hurtado (Tabin), Sonia Aguilar (Jose), Denise Monica Hernandez (Jose) and Juanita Valadez (Rosalio); his grandchildren, Daniel, David, Alfonso, Rosi, Rebecca, Albert, Juan Jose, Jesse, Ruby, Roxanne, Maria of Jesus, Veronica, Brandon, Briana, Aries, Andrew, Claritza, Jailene and Savannah; and his brother Armando Trevino (Yolanda).
