It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Eugene Quinn Sr. (Waukegan, Illinois), who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Teacher Organization; his son Logan O. Quinn; and his siblings, Bonnie Winfrey, Albert Winfrey and Gary Quinn.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence Eugene Quinn Jr. and Corliss Faith Ivy (Spencer); his grandchildren, Nickea Nance (Justin), De'Vonna Whitmore (De Andre), De'Von Temple (Tasia), Devon Quinn, Naryah Quinn, Sandria Crittendon, Laurence Crittendon, Q'Nesha Randle-Quinn, TaLeca Quinn and Elizabeth Grace; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Nance, Jaxon Nance, Cameron Whitmore, Jordan Whitmore, Aubrielle Crittendon and Amaiya Quinn; and his siblings, Helen Funderburg, Connie Jones, Pamela Quinn, Penny Brace, Amy McCullough, Miriam Quinn, Anthony Quinn (Patricia), Donald Quinn and Phillip Jackson (Debbie). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and Special Friend.
He was an avid cook and gardener, once having grown head lettuce on the side of a house between sidewalk and house foundation that went from front to back (on Lincoln St.) from seed.
