He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernee Laird and Ruby Hauser; his great grandchild Milagros Olvera; his siblings, Roger, Leonard, Richard Laird, Lila Terrell, Rosalee Lund and Violet Pyette; his parents-in-law, Gene and Dorothy LaForge; and his nieces, Teresa and Dorothy Dickson.

He is survived by : his wife Gloria Laird (LaForge); his children, Lawrence Laird, Jr. (Jill), Kimberly Dever (Russ) and Brian Laird (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Cassie, Tony, Kevin, Sam, Jessica, Caitlyn, Nick, David, Lexie, Ryan, Allen and Michael; his great grandchildren, Mya, Vanessa, Vida, Camiliana, Lucia, Moriya and Gia; and his siblings-in-law, Tina Laird, Patricia Laird, Nancy Padgett (Dennis), Joyce Souder (Larry), Charles Terrell, Gene LaForge (Marsha), David LaForge (Sam), Kenneth LaForge (Pauline) and Ed LaForge (Mindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
