Lorraine Knuth Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Knuth of Waukegan, Illinois, born in Elton, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald H. Knuth; her son Donald R. Knuth; her parents, Robert Lambert and Lizzy Lambert; and her siblings, Harry, Kenneth, Charles, John, Virgil, Jettie and Audrey.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles (Susan Barker) of Plymouth and Joel of Las Vegas, Nevada; her daughter-in-law Susan Knuth of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her brother Robert Lee Lambert, Jr. of Tomah, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
After retiring, she devoted her time working in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' temples, starting in 1984 in Washington, D. C., and ending in the Chicago temple right before the pandemic hit.
