He is survived by: his children, Manuela Gomez (Cesar), Paula Knutel, Marina McCawley, Gerardo Villarreal (Violet), Betty Villarreal (Marc Connor), Nely DeThorne (Brad) and Diane Villarreal; his grandchildren, Zaida Medina (Paulino), Eli Solis (Israel), Nubia Bravo (Juan), Yesenia, Augusto Gomez, Matt Knutel (Casey), Jack Knutel, Brandon, Brett, Courtney McCawley, Vida, Luz Villarreal, Paige DeThorne (Steve Paul), Abigail and Chloe DeThorne; and his great grandchildren, Aneli, Areli, Isaeli Solis, Neyla, Jayden Medina and Luna Bravo.
