It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raquel Figueroa of Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leopoldo Rodriguez and Emma Rodriguez (Garcia); her husband Robert Figueroa; and her brothers, Edwardo "Lalo" Rodriguez and Leopoldo "Arturo" Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Hogan (Ivone), Kathy Barriera (Hector), Brian Hogan (Nubia) and Berto Figueroa (Mindy); her grandchildren, Nina, Joseph, Justin, Josh, Anthony, Marie, Michael, Nivia, Brian, Anissa, Tony, David, Mariah, Robert and Gianni; her great grandchildren, Nikko, Mario, Anabaya, Millions, Aliyah, Heaven and Melody; and her siblings, Ramiro Rodriguez (Frances), Herminia Martinez (Oscar), Lulie Martinez (Mauricio), Gloria Garza and Imelda Martinez (Jose).
