He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisa Portalatin and Antonio Portalatin; and his sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Maestre and Rose. He is survived by: his pet Spanky; his wife Connie Portalatin; his daughters, Katie Linares and Elisa Rodriguez (Julian); his grandchildren, Ricardo Linares, Anjelica Linares, Isaiah Rodriguez, Gianna Rodriguez, Xavier Rodriguez and Isabella Rodriguez; his great grandchild Maria Berdiel; his godson Jake Sparks; and his brothers, Antonio Portalatin, Julius Portalatin (Sandy) and Charles Portalatin. He is also survived by extended family, nieces and nephews.
