He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Fields and Fairlene Fields; his wife Naydean Fields; his daughter Bridgette Howard; his brothers, Louis Fields, Thaddeus Turner, Kenneth Turner, Rodney Turner and Charles Turner; and his grandson Justus Howell.
He is survived by: his sister Jimmie Ann West (Alvin); his siblings-in-law, Marion Fields (late Louis) and Odie Kneeland; his daughter Regina Fields; his grandsons, Darnell Fields of Zion, IL, Shikieth Howard of Beach Park, IL, Ashley Howard of Waukegan, IL and Mark Fields of Gurnee, IL; his great grandchildren, Jesa, Naya, Adriana, Inchansity, Darnell Jr., Christian and Nuriyah; his nieces, Shawn Stacy, Tiaka Turner and Marilyn Kneeland; his cousin Eric Allen; and his close friend Craig Ward. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and long-time friends.
