She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Marcial Paniagua and Nicolasa Paniagua; her husband Miguel Cortez; and her children, Arcadio Cortez (Sarafina), Eulalia Marmolejo (Roberto), Beatrice Alfaro (Juventino), Yolanda Ayala (Carlos), Antonio Cortez (Guadalupe), Maria Isabel Fernandez (Juan), Miguel Cortez (Bridget), Christina Cortez, Martha Ventimilla (Rick), Johnny Cortez (Joy) and Helen Cortez. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
