She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Vincent; her parents, John Layman and Genevieve Layman (Blaszkiewicz); and her siblings, Casimir, Eleanor (Frank) and Johnny.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Ptaszek (Julie), Sue Van Acker (Chris) and Jerome Ptaszek (Michele); her grandchildren, Matt (Kelly), Emily, Claire (Scotty), Audrey (Isaac), Karen (Phil), Johnnie, Shannon, Brianna, Vince, Gianna and Sela; and her great grandchildren, Fran, Ometz, Henry, Dominic, Elise, Lydia, Boaz, Genevieve, Otto, Thaddeus and Annie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory of Bartlett (950 S Bartlett Rd, Bartlett, IL 60103). A prayer was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Resurrection Catholic Church (30W687 Army Trail Rd, Wayne, IL 60184).
