Lovey Marcus Obituary
We bid farewell to Lovey Marcus of East Dundee, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 97. Lovey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Hudson and Gladys Hudson (Furman); her husband Carl; her siblings, Lois Stevens and William Hudson; and her daughter Lynne Bohmbach (Bohmbach).
She is survived by: her sons, Carlton Marcus III (Beth) of Las Vegas and Bruce Marcus (Danae, family: Sleepy Hollow) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Sally (Roberts), Carlton Marcus IV, Alexandra and Michael Bohmbach; and her sons, Meredith, Nathan and Benjamin Marcus. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the First Congregational Church of Dundee (900 S 8th St, West Dundee, IL 60118). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
