With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Ann Woods of West Frankfort, Illinois, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Lyle Johnson and Edna Johnson (Goodenow); her husband Dr. Earl Woods; and her siblings, Hal, Dean Johnson and Betty Bercu.

She is survived by : her children, Timothy Woods of Chicago, Thomas Woods of West Frankfort, Jonathan Woods (Dianne) of Leesburg, Candace Woods of Austin and Kim Randolph (Mike) of West Frankfort; her grandchildren, Jenny Randolph Daily (Joshua) of Madison, Logan Randolph of West Frankfort, Meredith Woods of Carbondale, Nikko Woods of Leesburg, Colton Woods of Leesburg and Tucker Woods of Leesburg; and her great grandchildren, Hudson and Nolan Daily.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions it is mandatory that masks be worn for the visitation and funeral and that social distancing be observed.

Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of West Frankfort and will be accepted at the funeral home.
