It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Maas of West Salem, Illinois, born in Edwards, Illinois, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Maas and Mildred Maas (Schmidt); his siblings, Jack and Virginia; and his sister-in-law Dona Maas.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Maas (Trish) of Olney, IL, Julie Rigg (Don) of Mt. Carmel, IL and Brian Maas (Melanie) of Albion, IL; his brother Don Maas of West Salem; his grandchildren, Kelly Sanders (Wesley) of Mt Carmel, Kyle Rigg (Ronda) of Mt. Carmel, Kole Rigg (Shelby) of St. Charles, MO, Monica Terry (Kevin) of Albion, Ben Maas (Natalie) of Albion and Kieffer Maas of Olney; and his great grandchildren, Julianna, Harrison, Jayden, Skylar, Kolby, Mayleigh, Nolan and Cooper.
