With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Carl Mason (West Salem, Illinois), born in Bone Gap, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mason (Mills) and Carl Mason; his brother Robert; and his nephew Marc. He is survived by: his wife Delores "Dee" Harness of West Salem; his children, Cathy Spence (Keith) of West Salem and Steve Mason (Trisha) of Fairfield; his siblings, Alberta Jenner (Theron) of West Salem, Larry Mason (Diane) of Olney, IL and Jerry Mason (Debbie) of West Salem; his grandchildren, Jordan Spence (Sondra) of Albuquerque, NM, Amber Lovato (Phil) of Albuquerque, NM, Megan Spence of Searcy, AR, Tyler Mason of Fairfield, Trenton Mason of Fairfield and Trey Mason of Fairfield; his great grandchildren, Josiah, Levi, Eliana, Destiny and Declan; and his sister-in-law Kay Mason of Albion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Brownsville School or the First Christian Church of West Salem and envelopes will be available at the service.
